Timeline

Note: The timeline is based on the many places of exile inhabited by Gibran Kahlil Gibran in the course of his life: Lebanon, his birthplace and the object of his persistent nostalgia; France, where he studied and learned to paint; the United States, the country of his great influences, where he created his most emblematic literary works; and Mexico, which through the exhibition Gibran: El profeta, became his adoptive country.
